"Today as I'm sure you're aware is the 14th Annual Transgender Day of Remembrance. This is very personal to me for not only am I trans, but I know quite a few people who've been assaulted for being trans, and I fear it for myself every time I go out. Let's make sure we use the day to raise awareness of those who saw life for its possibilities, but were rewarded with hate and intolerance. Lets spread more love, acceptance, and understanding to help stop the murders of innocent trans people" (and anyone for that matter, it's so sad how many people are murdered annually for being who they really are..)

WTF? lol There is a day for trannies now? wow...if you are afraid of being assaulted then learn self defense or carry a weapon, don't be a coward and hide behind your life style, don't be a victim, stand up and be a human being for god sake, spread love by trying to convince people you deserve equal rights, not by crying and acting like children.

First off, learn the proper nomenclatures, your ignorance is offensive. I actually have taken self defense courses for years and am self taught, as are many trans people. In fact, one of the things that is advocated on TDOR is SELF PROTECTION TO NOT BE A VICTIM! Actually Transgender Day of Remembrance is a day to SPREAD AWARENESS OF THE IGNORANCE THAT LEADS TO MURDERS, INEQUALITY, AND THE OPPRESSIVE LAWS! Not a day to cry and act like children. It's hard for my minority to NOT be victimized. TDOR is a day where tons of trans people gather in courts to bring up the deaths, the discrimination, and the hypocritical laws towards trans people, often signing petitions too to change thse! Maybe you should do some research before just going off on a rant with no basis and making yourself look more like a flamer than someone who is trying to be helpful, which I think you are. Though I love how you talk about spreading love and equal rights on a post that is trying to do just that, and with you using an offensive nomenclature. The hypocrisy and ignorance is through the roof...

There are African children dying of starvation and aids, people being killed because of their skin color, even their religious beliefs, the world is a dangerous place, for anyone, I could die tomorrow, we should spread awareness of humanity, and love, not for specific groups, but all people, the world is bigger than your problems, we have a lot of problems we need to fix before humanity will ever live in equality.

I agree entirely and never said anything contrary. I was simply talking about the topic you brought up. Of course we should spread HUMAN awareness, not the specific minorities and eccentricities. At the end of the day, we're ALL humans, we're all here together. Why not try to care for our fellow beings? Sad fact is though, very few people in the large scope of things can see that, fewer still do anything about it. Though trying to spread awareness one group at a time, and being an advocate for human rights is one step in the right direction if you ask me.

Why are we groups though? Why can't we just be humans, and individuals? You are not a group, you are not any label, you are just you, or do you consider yourself to be on some sort of a team? lol

I think because society deems it (and I guess in a sort of mathematical sense too) that it's just easier to group people. Society is more mathematical than I like it to be. Treating individuals number as statistics, it's kind of gross if you ask me.

Society is pretty stupid, that is not even an insult,it is the truth, most people act like zombies, sad to say they have been turned into it, not so much born that way, it is not society doing it, it is a few powerful people in positions of influence creating trends and splitting people into groups, besides that fact, you should not let society dictate your thoughts or perspectives, period, start a revolution, not based off some mindless word used to describe and marginalize people, but being an individual, being yourself, then if people still reject you, you have no regrets because you were honest with yourself, ya know?

I don't care if you are American or Chinese, male or female, we all have the right to speak our minds, just as you do, if I want to say "trannies", I will, if it offends you then that is a personal problem, not mine. I don't care what you want to call yourself either, I don't judge you, or anyone for that matter, that is your business, but I'll use whatever nomenclature I want, it's a pathetic need to make everything politically correct because cry babies are so self conscious they need to force the will of others, you can't control anyone, or what they say, nor can anyone control you. You're the one that sounds like a bigot, and as long as you and others act the way you do, no one will except you, ever. I wasn't being hypocritical or ignorant, you should learn the definitions of both of them, I think it is pathetic how some of you people act, hence your behavior, you cry and moan about equal rights, then you act like pompous freaks, and you insult people who don't agree with you, even though we don't disagree on anything, other than your view of what language I should use as not to offend you, you are the hypocrite. I could go on about how your behavior is unnatural, I'm not even religious, it is basic biology, man goes with woman to make babies, that is what mother nature intended, not hybrid man/woman combinations, which you all do to yourselves usually, wearing makeup and women’s clothing doesn't make you a female, but I'm not here to call you out, you're a human being above all of that and you deserve the right to persue happiness without fear, but just because I think that and love everyone, doesn't mean I am going to deny reality.
